Analisis Tafsir Maudhu'i Āli-‘Imrān Ayat 14: Rekonstruksi Makna Emas Sebagai Standar Nilai Universal

Abstract

This article explores the linguistic and theological significance of the term “gold” (adz-dzahab) in the Qur’an and its implications as a universal standard of value. The Qur’anic use of adz-dzahab with alif lam al-atfiyyah and al-takhsis emphasizes the specificity and nobility of gold, suggesting both material and spiritual valuation. Analyzing Surah Al-Imrān/3:14 through the lens of Tafsier Maqasidi, the research highlights gold’s dual function in Islamic thought as both a worldly pleasure and a metaphysical symbol. This qualitative study employs thematic tafsir analysis, integrating classical and contemporary exegetical perspectives.
